Örverk er innsýn inn í hugarheim dansara Íslenska dansflokksins. Með Örverkunum var farið út fyrir hefðbundið sköpunarferli hjá dansflokknum, enda verkin sköpuð á tímum þegar dönsurum flokksins var óheimilt að koma saman sem ein heild vegna samkomubanns. Hvert verk er sólóverk, hugarfóstur dansaranna, samið og flutt af dönsurunum sjálfum. Útkoman er því ákveðin klippimynd af þeim ólíku, hæfileikaríku og einstöku listamönnum sem starfa sem dansarar hjá Íslenska dansflokknum.

The Iceland Dance Company Microworks give an insight into the creative mindset of the company‘s dancers. The Microworks go beyond the traditional creative process of Iceland dance company, as each work is a solo work, choreographed and performed by the dancers themselves. The Microworks are their fantasies and shed light on how the dancers seized the opportunity to focus their creative energy to choreograph a solo performance during times when the company was not allowed to come together as a whole due the pandemic. As a result, the works become a collage of the innovative, talented and unique people who work as dancers at the company.
