The french director Corinne Dardé follows a process for a performance with an Italian choreographer who is working with relationships between relatives. Mother and son, father and daughter, best friends, siblings etc. Al so called non dancers. Meeting each other for the first time.
This film aims to trace the process of creation of the show Madri e figli_Padri e Figli, filmed as part of the Festival of International Choreographic Encounters of Seine-Saint-Denis 2016.What gestures reflect the relationships that fathers and mothers with their children? Which filiations are born through the body? This is the project that Italian choreographer Virgilio Sieni is conducting in Madri e figli_Padri e figli, or "Mothers / Fathers and Children".
