Caribbean Dreams

The work explores the physicality of chocolate, transporting the spectator to a warm place, sail away with me, maybe a boat in the Caribbean, watching a bunny fall into itself and becoming a pile of unidentified material.

Berglind Erna Tryggvadóttir is a visual artist based in Reykjavík, Iceland. She studied Fine Arts at the Iceland Art Academy and ENPEG La Esmeralda in Mexico City and recently finished a Master’s program in Fine Arts from the Piet Zwart Institute. Berglind has taken part in multiple exhibitions in Sweden, Iceland, Denmark, Netherlands and Estonia. She has also done some curating and worked with radio.

Berglind works through various mediums; performance, photography, food, happenings, video, installation and text.
